This was an experiment running a yamaha tx81z through a korg ea-1. The fm is a grand piano patch decimated and warmed up with analog oscillators. Sampled into an mpc. 44. 1k, 16-bit.

Making a switch with logic. Switching between quantized and sequenced cvand random for the oscillator.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

Midi sequence playing through a moog voyager with a couple parameter tweaks throughout clip. Might sound good in a full arrangement.

I'm trying to get some character to my modular sounds. This is a sequence with a sawtooth wave mixed with noise and joined in a vca that can distort a little. It's a vca i bought used. Don't think a new vca of the same sort distortes. I really like that. I little reverb is added to the sound. The sound is analog until it reaches the reverb. Sometime i will buy a spring reverb. Promise. But here, on the internet, the sound is digital anyway.

In the right channel you hear uoki-toki polivoks vcf. In the left channel is the sound of intellijel μvcf. They are playing the same tones. The sounds have the same envelope but respectively vca are also affected by attenuated lfos.

An lfo set to 1hz connected to doepfer a-160 clock divider and hexinverter électronique jupiter storm "cv all". Before recording i reset the clock divider. Low tone triggered by /2middle tone by /16highest tone triggered by upiter storm output xi. I can't reset jupiter storm. Ok, what do we hear/see. It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney".
